Would a love to join the Howard’s End book chats. I adore Forster and didn’t realize Zadie Smith’s novel was a riff on it. Excited to dig in. Thank you for creating this opportunity for community!
I highly recommend Karen Karbo's Come to Your Senses writing retreat with Natalie later this year. I participated two years ago and it was magical. The setting is perfect -- a medieval castle standing tall over a warm and beautiful sea just waiting for you to dip your toes into. Mornings spent writing with soon-to-be friends, delicious food, great writing craft advice and fun afternoon activities. I hope to return again soon!
Pulling my book off the shelf to remind myself.... hold please...."As the rain fell softly on the Boulevard Saint-Germain, I told her that on the night of that concert in Vienna, I had ceased to inhabit Rachmaninov's sadness, and dared for a moment to live in our own." Oh man! The entire last page! Thanks for reminding me. xN
