Never kept up the morning pages (or liked them) but I have been taking myself on artist's dates for...over 30 years? Jeepers that sounds like a lot when I see it written down, but I still love refilling the well.
Oh Natalie you sound so relaxed. How great. And it looks lovely there. Wonderful to be out of your usual routine and creating a new one in France! Wish I was there with you! Xo
Collioure! One of my favorite places on the planet. Forgive me if you've shared already, but would love to know how you ended up there/are able to enjoy such a long stay! (May need to take notes...)
i like to get little kitchen things when i travel and particularly little trays or cups. in italy 15 years ago my husband and i bought a pair of large mugs for cappuccinos, and we use them every weekend morning. :) we used them today!
I want a pink mug too 💕
To be fair, that mug is gorgeous.
Love the pink mug! Now it holds coffee. When you're home it will hold memories.
Good ones to be sure! 🧡

France taught me the meaning of pleasure in my 50’s and is where my book begins.
‘Behind the Painting -An Artist’s Memoir’ launches May 7, 2026.
The book shifted many times over 20 years and finally found its form. The book holds ten of my paintings and the story behind each one.
Soak up the Francais placir.
